A few nice quit smoking images I found:
Cigarette Spew

I shot this at midday-ish – and it was still there at 5.15pm. I informed the Adelaide Council office (further down Pirie Street) of their obligation. The security guard actually thanked me for the information, and agreed it was a disgusting habit. He also said they regularly clean another one of these cannisters at the rear of the office daily.

Q&A: Do smoking cessation medications really work?
Question by agiamy: Do smoking cessation medications really work?
My husband is trying to stop smoking. He did it on his own for 3 months and then started again. He says that he wants to try medication now. Anyone with experience with any particular drug? Success? Side effects?
Best answer:
Answer by TinyMe
My boyfriend and a family friend used it. The family friend used it for 3 months and stopped ( she had headaches). She still hasn’t smoked in over 6 months. She has no desire to. As for my boyfriend, he used it through he first pack and the side effects were bad for him. He had horrible gas and stomach cramps. It did curb his desire but he didn’t really commit to it. He just waited for the drug to make him stop, not stopping on his own. He should give it a try if he’s really serious and is willing to try to stop. The drug helps but it doesn’t do all of the work.

Tobacco Lungs
Some cool quit smoking now images:
Tobacco Lungs

I have always been interested in experimenting with new ideas in many of my paintings, lungs is certainly no exception. To express the negative effects smoking has to your lungs I set about to create a powerful piece of art that delivers a strong message. I remember finishing this painting with a feeling of incompletion, how could I add something different and help bring this painting to life? Then it struck me, I tore open a cigarette and sprinkled the tobacco contents over the drying canvas. The added textures really brought the lungs to life and jump out from the patchy light background. Once the painting had dried and the tobacco was secure I looked back and knew that the painting was now complete.

Q&A: I quit smoking and now my favorite foods are disgusting to me. Why?
Question by Matt L: I quit smoking and now my favorite foods are disgusting to me. Why?
I quit smoking almost 2 months ago, and for the last month or so, things that I used to love, mostly bread-related things like pizza, hamburgers, Quizno’s, etc.. have a very strange texture in my mouth after I chew a few times. It is so hard to explain, but all these things just feel gross in mouth now, and they are some of my favorite things to eat. Does anyone know what it is? Will it go away?
Best answer:
Answer by BTriX♥
Smoking has an anestetic affect on your mouth, making you not as able to taste foods. So naturally, after you’ve quit – that goes away. So now you’re tasting everything as nature intended.
Try an apple or some fruit.
